More on Jet and Walmart's water heist.

Jet is proceeding along as I had predicted. Most items are expensive, slightly more than Walmart prices, or, in rare cases, less expensive than Walmart prices.

Walmart has a new wrinkle. The price of 24 pack 16 ounce water has gone from $3-$4 to a flat $9.99 all around. If that's not gouging, I don't know what is. Unfortunately, there's no water shortage, so Wally World can get away with the hike.

Good news. Locally, Ingles and Aldi's are doing well. There is a Publix expected to open in Johnson City, nearby. In Consumer Reports review, Those three are the highest quality stores in the area. Food City is next. Walmart is on the list, but near the bottom.
